Building It All

Hope you are having a great week! Here’s the third installment of the Boho Booth story…

We tried to get our wood and building materials from sustainable sources, recycling old pallet boxes where we could. The signs were all hand painted by a very talented local sign writer Dan Biggs – we like to support small local artisan businesses and creators if we can. The equipment for the running of the booth was really difficult to source. I was determined to make it feel like a real vintage booth with instant prints. In the end to get the desired print quality we had to import specialist equipment from the states to give the images the studio finish that we wanted. The styling side of things is really inspired by the vans that you see in Australia and in the US. I definitely have a quirky boho style myself and wanted to add a touch of this to make the experience unique.
